Snowpack

We did not do any formal snowpack tests. Skiing the low angle slopes nearby yesterday, we found lots of powder that became more sun crusted today.

Avalanche

One avalanche that occurred above and near tree line on an east facing slope. From a distance, it appeared to break to the ground but we did not get close enough to see. It was likely a windslab. Approximate elevation was 11,500 at the start. Ran down to valley below.
