Snowpack
Bear Lake TH > Lake Haiyaha SE-E-NE-N 9500'-10200' HS 100-120cm Persistent weak grains present in the top 45cm snowpack (buried near surface facets) and near the basal layers (DH). Various CT scores from M-H with sudden collapses. At the top of Dream Chutes (10500') evidence of wind slab reactivity 15cm down.
Avalanche
One team observed the crown of an avalanche (D1) near Nymph Lake. Another team observed a small (D1) avalanche in the Otis Redding (skiers left) couloir.
