Cool morning, warming up quickly around 8:00 a.m. with partly cloudy skies and a light southwesterly breeze and occasional moderate gusts along the ridgeline.

The snowpack is melting fast below 10,000 feet and on south-facing slopes. Cold overnight temperatures are allowing for good, deep refreezes of the snowpack above around 10,000 feet.
