Weather
Warm and mostly sunny. Moderate southwest winds were strong enough to transport snow but minimal snow was available, limiting loading on lee slopes.
Snowpack
On southeast aspects near treeline, wet instabilities were limited to the recent snow with only isolated pockets near rock outcroppings and exposed vegetation becoming completely unsupportive. North-facing slopes below treeline, surface snow was wet but remained supportive on skis, easily pushed and intitiating sluffs on steep slopes.
