Partly cloudy with intermittent winds tending from the west.
Snowpack
3-6 inches of storm snow on top of spring crust. Poor bonding and slight propagation observed before the trigger.
Avalanche
Triggered while bootpacking. Climbers were far lookers left near the rock and below the choke. Released near the choke and propagated across the opposite side of the slope. Neither in the party were caught.
