Cold, snowy, and windy with low visibility. Blowing snow all around.

Snowpack

Great powder skiing below treeline with deep pole and ski pens. Dug an educational pit at 11,300 on a north aspect on a low angle slope. Approx 200cm HS. See photo. Top was fist powder, follow led by a 1F healthy mid pack. Bottom was faceted 4F/F+. No whumphing or collapsing observed.
