Great conditions at feather peak area , only the very top of feather bowl was wind affected - didn’t find surface hoar but didn’t look too har- 30cms of low density snow on top of windcrust and facets - no results No instabilities observed South and east slopes wind scoured - Great turns all the way to car The notch has quite the wind formation. We descended it but climbed feather peak east ridge. Skiing was very good- light was gone by the time we left- mostly good visibility all day No wind
