Weather
Light snow off and on. A few light gusts, not moving snow around. Felt mild and humid.
Snowpack
Looked at east near the start zones of Willow Swamp. One drifted area had HS of 145cm. Surface facets ~5cm thick on a 1cm thick crust. Below that to around 5cm of the ground was a 1F thick slab consisting of faceting rounds. In a less lee spot HA was only 55 cms and the snowpack entirely facetted with perc columns reaching 25cm from the surface. Three distinct but soft and faceting mfc's were observed at 40cm, 35cm and 25cm respectively. Boot pen to ground. Facet sluffs were easily initiated in steep, north facing slopes below treeline.
