Kootenay Pass

Lots of settlements in the snow pack today with shooting cracks. No sign of any recent avalanche activity but we skied mainly in the trees. Lots of wind deposits near ridgelines, there was a slight crust on the snow, maybe from freezing rain but did not affect the skiing quality
