Weather
Mixed clouds ~25 degrees, minimal wind. Sure beats yesterday.
Snowpack
HS variable from 80cm to upwards of 120cm depths. 15cm new snow sitting on a variety of wind stripped and moist facet layers. Ski pen 10-20cm boot pen 80cm+. 4 cracks that propagated from skis 3m-10m in length experienced on more W aspects and 2 audible but localized collapses heard on slopes up to 38 degrees. Not enough cohesive snow at this time to be concerned, but a foot or two and it could be heads up hockey in pockets out there. Radical.
