About 2-3 inches of fresh, heavy powder in the line. North facing, in the shadow of a cornice.
Avalanche
No Avalanche, no shooting cracks or slides, no signs of instability, partner dropped in and I was waiting up higher off to the side to go in, felt a settlement and a large whoomph, but no other signs of instability.
