Comments and quick report details all within a few hundred metres of report coordinates. Although the day was fairly calm in the valley, more wind was evident above ~800m with cornices growing eastward on N-S ridges around >=1100m. Whumphing on WSW-SSW slopes. A couple layers of depth hoar from ~60cm depth to ground. Steep slopes would have been ideal but were avoided due to the storm loading. Northerly winds today and during the next week or so will likely increase and complicate the risk going forwards. May be surface hoar development this week; something to watch for into next storm cycle.
