A ski cut above the narrow slot on skiers left of lower Stonecrop kicked off a small slough. It was slow moving, but did entrain a large amount of snow in the open bowl below. It was 1.5 by by the time it stopped. There was a very noticeable temperature chance at this elevation. Snow on the upper face was very good. There was a steady moderate wind depositing snow on the upper headwall...Maybe something to note for the next few warm days.
