Dug a pit did a column test. By taylor lake on mt bell. nw aspect 2150m 125cm deep 35 degrees, upside down pack soft slab above facets with new snow ontop.soft 9 for upper 30cm on surface hoar facet layer, and mod 13 on large facets against old weak crust 1m down, skied a 100m line of the shoulder back to the lake no signs of instabilitys or previous avalanches. Headed to pano ridge climbed to tree line and rode back down in the same powder conditions no signs of instabilty.
