Sunny, warm and calm
Snowpack
Tuesday's ferocious winds stripped any available snow and deposited it in localized lenses well below ridge lines. Winds also exposed more of the old dusty snow surface, leaving a patchwork of white and pink snow. The snow surface is especially dusty south of Red Mountain Pass, where less snow fell in last weekend's storm. Snow that fell in the last storm (April 13/14) has mostly transitioned and assimilated under warm temps. Only the highest northerly slopes still hold any colder snow under the surface. Mostly stable conditions with the usual warm spring problems with daytime warming. 
There is no snow left to move for the next round of strong winds anticipated to arrive tomorrow (19th). Its all been pinned down with today's warming (not to mention beat by the hours of 60 mph averages yesterday). 

Avalanche
No fresh slides. Just some localized wet loose slides from earlier in the week- mostly D1. All recent slides limited to the previous storm snow sliding on old firm and dusty surface.
