Winds were calm the entire trip. Scattered clouds with heavier coverage to the north, air temp at 11,200' was 23F.

Snowpack

I dug a quick test pit to compare results from 12/2 which produced an ECT PV (isolation), with todays conditions. The pits were roughly 20' apart, same aspect. Todays total snow depth was 175 cm (69"). The crust that produced the failure on 12/2 (68 cm from the ground) was not apparent, on 12/2 we had observed that it was faceting and losing hardness.
