Weather

Very light snowfall. Moderate winds from the southwest ATL.

Snowpack

I traveled on N and NE-facing terrain. BTL HS 45-60 cm. There was widespread collapsing, some with enough force to knock snow off of small trees. NTL HS 55-95 cm. Here I experienced the largest collapse I’ve had all season, spanning what seemed like hundreds of feet wide. I didn’t spend too much time ATL, but HS where I traveled was a wind-scoured 10-20 cm. I could see what looked like deeper wind-loaded pockets.

Avalanche

None observed but visibility was poor.
