Snowpack
Generally, the snowpack is weak in most places below treeline with a degrading slab that barely supports a skier. Boot pen was to the ground. In deeper areas the most recent snowfall is faceting, and sits above a 4 finger to 1 finger minus slab that also continues to facet. Below this larger grained facets and depth hoar make up the basal layer.
