Snowpack

We dug on an east aspect near treeline that had been favored by wind loading. Snowpack consisted of a shallow surface slab over facets which sat on top of a pencil hard slab over more facets. ECTP results below this pencil hard slab. We got a few collapses near treeline in our travels. The snowpack below treeline was shallow and faceted.

Almost no recent avalanche activity was observed in the vicinity of our tour today.
