Weather

Sunny to start with increasing cloud cover later in the afternoon. Winds were isolated to ridgetop.

Snowpack

We traveled up west-facing slopes below to near treeline and found weak snow top to bottom. There is between 40-50cm of snow with recent storm snow covering facets to the ground. Small wind drifts were observed on the south sides of cross-loaded gullies.

Avalanche

We observed two rider triggered avalanches in the steep gullies near the "Dave's Wave" area. These were small and isolated to south-facing cross-loaded ridges. This is predominately west-facing terrain with the gully walls facing south.
