Burst of snow throughout the morning but little accumulation. Last night's snow totaled about 6 inches.

Below treeline is much thinner in this area then areas near and south of Leadville. The slab is generally 4F hardness and it is not very supportable. Limited collapses observed BTL. Much different than what I observed yesterday near Turquoise Lake. When I got near treeline, the slab (from previous snowfall) was stiffer, and widespread collapsing began. Again, this was still different than what I observed to the south, the collapses were ~50 to ~100 ft and not the rolling, prolonged collapses of other areas.--- The westerly aspects I traveled on were just as weak as anything else.
