Great conditions all weekend :) we Went over the the east side of Wolf ridge expecting to find some sun affect, but fortunately did not. We went up to 2030m, dug two pits and skied down from there due to the flat light and getting hungry. Noted some sun affect on full south facing, steeper slopes both Saturday and Sunday.

My partner and I dug two pits, with very different results. We were about 3/4 up the Wolf ridge slide path. No sun affect, although we did find a few patches of sun crust only on steeper aspects here and there. Variable snow depth due to the boulder field underneath (150cm-200cm). My partner got no results on his column test, apart from the top 15cm slab. We were able to pull it off at the weak layers, but they didn’t crack during the test. My pit happened to be on top of a large boulder and the snow depth in my pit varied from 145-210cm. Good reminder of where sneaky shallow spots come from. Column height was closer to 150cm and the bottom close to the rock was all rotten. Failed at 130cm suddenly at 14.
