Snowpack
Noticeable increase in snow depth and cover near and above 10,000ft. Though steep windward slopes were shallow(less than 10 inches). The near treeline elevation band seems to be the most hazardous on NW-N-E slopes at the moment. In a snow pit at 10,100ft, observations showed Persistent Slab structure with stubborn results in multiple snowpack tests. The newly formed slab is still soft over a sandwich of hard and soft layers mid-snowpack resting over large grain basal layers that are gaining strength.
