Snowpack

Snowpack remains generally thin and weak. Total snow near treeline is 60-80cm. Snowpit tests broke just below the interface between the depth hoar and the "newer" snow (ECTP13&14, PST21/100(End)). We observed many collapses in near and above treeline areas. Shooting cracks only in wind effected areas. Snow surface covered in surface hoar (2mm in most areas). Snowpack below treeline was barely strong enough to support a skier.
