Dark clouds and occasional graupel squalls made it feel like April, not February. Roads wet.

Snowpack

The foot of snow at the snow stakes consisted of moist 2-4mm facets. Small loose wet sluffs were observed along banks, triggered by the previous spell of warm weather. The start zones hold 6 to 24 inches of snow. Tracks are rough, with rocks and stumps clearly visible. Some recent rock slide activity was evident from new deposits in nets.
