Weather

Calm with temps in the upper 20's ATL and NTL, reaching 30's BTL. Overcast with the sun shining through light overcast skies briefly midday.

Snowpack

Spotty distribution with grass and rocks showing on south, east and west aspects at all elevations. A knife-to-pencil hard wind slab over faceting snow was observed ATL that was unsupportive. The snowpack varied widely with a maximum observed depth of 57cm. A cornice was observed on the SE ridgeline of Buckeye Peak's south shoulder. BTL small pockets of unconsolidated facets up to 30 cm deep occurred amongst areas of bare ground.

Avalanche

No signs of avalanching were observed with good visibility across the valley.
