Great fast facetty pow in the sun today in McLatchie ………….. A bit scarey in the shallow snowpack of 55 cm (lots of sharks 54 cm tall !), but the supportive-to-skis raincrust kept us reasonably safe …………… a few Sz .5 loose dry out of steep terrain in the Alpine, no other signs of instability …………. Stayed cold (high of -9 at 1800 m) all day despite the clear sky.
