High at study plot was 36F, high at ridge was 26F. Already falling with approaching storm and associated clouds. Wind behaved most of day until 15:00, and are increasing from single digits to near 20mph at 1700. Sky broken early and convective clouds increased all day to overcast and darkening by 17:00.
Snowpack
Surface began to soften around 12;00-12:30 with mixed clouds, no chance to look at structure below surface, but natural rollerball activity from days prior in most steep terrain including. Ski pen was nothing early, bulletproof, softening to perfect corn for most of afternoon with isolated punchiness near trees below treeline where longwave prevented refreeze last night. No avalanche activity observed.
