Weather
Steady SE winds this morning. Hn had a near 10% water content so needed stronger winds for transport. Cloud cover was pretty constant obscured, though two brief periods of quasi clearing allowed very minimal observation onto surrounding terrain.
Snowpack
Below about 10,800 ft the snowpack was only just supportable. The new snow was sitting on moist snow which ran full depth. Ski pole easily pushed right to ground. Above 10,800 elevation the old snow surface was supportable and had refrozen.
