Calm w only a few gusts. Snow falling straight down all day. S-1 showers midday, a brief partial clearing early afternoon, then intense convective snowfall starting about 3 pm. S2-5. Read Double Dip storm board about 12:30 - 20 cm since last cleared on 2/16. 5-8 cm in subsequent 4 hours.

10-15 cm F-hard recent snow sitting on 5-8 cm 4 F hard snow from earlier in week. On sunny slopes, this soft slab sitting on crusts of various thicknesses; on shady slopes sitting on fine-grained FC. Almost no evidence of wind transport.
