Snowpack
Melting has really accelerated on the pass this week. Westerly and southerly aspects are mostly clear of snow up to 9,500'. A supportable crust exists on all sun exposed areas, even in the aspen glades on the W side of the pass. LTB is mostly melted out. Hairpin bowl is holding more snow due to it's shadier aspect and terrain configuration. Lower slopes like Flatiron and the headaches are holding little snow with HS around 6" on average and some areas melting out. Many shrubs and rocks showing.
