Weather

cool and breezy. winds didn't really get notable until we were close to the summit. 12,500' or so.

Snowpack

Descended a north aspect where there was 15-20cm new snow on top of the old, dusty, hard surface. On steep (over 35deg) rolls you could get new snow to sluff, otherwise there was only isolated slab development on leeward aspects. Snow was being transported on ridgelines above 12,500'on a few ridges but it was not widespread. Temps were still cool enough that wet loose avalanches were not a problem
