Snowpack
Touring yesterday in Hahn's Peak Lake area we gained a ridge offering views of an adjacent east facing slope. We saw that another group had been touring the area and just skied a slope of 35 degrees at 9200ft. We made visual contact and exchanged a hoot. Our group skied down a north facing slope and away from they're direction of travel. Across the Willow Creek drainage heading north and up a south facing bluff our views to the south showed that a portion of the slope they skied had released. We took the photo attached. While I'm sure the party departed the field unharmed, I'm not sure they were aware how the slope later reacted.
