Skied Monument Peak and had shooting cracks and collapsing on the entire descent to Ashcroft (east and north east aspects). No triggered slides, beyond some dry sluffing, due to conservative terrain selection. > > Significant wind transport in the alpine around Ashcroft.

Avalanche

Two wind slabs on the east side of Highlands Ridge. Series of wind slabs running ridgeline to valley floor above American Lake on east aspects (R2-D2).
