Weather

This morning's temperatures were 32 F at 10,000 feet. Air temperatures rose quickly after sunrise. Winds increased by mid day, with gusts into the 40’s. Increasing clouds by the afternoon.

Snowpack

Cool southerly winds kept above treeline snow surface frozen. By 10:00 AM, the snow surface below treeline on easterly terrain was getting wet but still supportive. These conditions deteriorated as we descended further down through below treeline terrain.
