Snowpack

Solid freeze below treeline, and adequate freeze near and above treeline. At 11 am the snow was softening with a solid platform of 5" frozen snow, but soft and wet under that. Although things were heating up quickly, and down low it was hot, the snow never felt punchy. Below TL there is little snow. 6-12" in some places, green leafy things in other places. Saw no new wet avalanches or signs of instability.
