Seems we experienced another natural avalanche cycle with today's strong northerly winds (different wx sites showed NW-N-NE). Strong solar radiation could have also played a role in some new slabs seen below treeline. We saw fresh slab releases today on a variety of aspects and elevations. While the most significant and quite large events occurred above TL on NE aspects (see Andrew Temple obs), suspect similar activity on the western side of the compass, as our views of the alpine from Hwy 550 favor more NE aspects... It seems just about any aspect or elevation that previously had snow before storm 12, is suspect. At the very least it's a very scary "Considerable" out there! Not many places we can go right now.
