Convective showers brought periods of locally heavy snowfall yesterday, especially on the southern passes. Snow showers continued after dark, but tapered by midnight. Sunny skies will return today. Current on passes: New snow past 24 hours Molas/CB 5”-6”, RMP/Gorge 4”-5”. Weather stations: Temperatures quite chilly this AM- single digits to below zero (-14 in Silverton). Winds have been unusually light through this storm and continue to blow mostly NNE/5-15. RH 83-91%.
