WEATHER: 9.00am cold snowing lightly. 11.00am clearing skies and partly sunny. 1.00pm overcast blowing and snowing from the west.

SNOWPACK: A mixture of buried crust with a week facet base is pretty much the standard in the Red Lady Glades, a mixed bag of surface conditions exist also from a crust seen on south and south west facing slopes to powdery conditions on south east or shaded sections, all buried by 7 cm of new snow. There is a supportive mid pack forming in the glades which makes for good beginner intermediate client skiing. No activity seen, The wind started to blow this afternoon at about 20/25 out of the west. I was in the valley and it probably blew pretty hard up high.
