Weather
Full sun, 50 degrees, east aspect at 12600ft, intermediate gusts of wind but mostly calm.
Snowpack
snow pack was wet and did not appear to freeze from the night before, could push poles into snow half way up to grip. Could see water flowing off rocks under area where avalanche released. lots of wet debris coming off crown while climbing up at approx. 1030AM
Avalanche
wet slab avalanche probably D2 in size. you can see the wet debris pouring over the cliffs in the photo attached.
