Beautiful day in the mountains. Downright hot in the sunshine. Light winds at ridgeline.

Snowpack

Traveled in BTL & NTL terrain. The whole snowpack consisted of facets. East and north aspects, ~50 cm of facets. 10 cm of 4 finger windslab at the surface in some very localized areas. South and west, ~30cm combination of facets and mf crusts. Facets wet and more dense on these sunny slopes. Surface hoar at the surface in pockets on N aspects. Views showed little snow remaining ATL, mostly bare ground.
