Weather

snow started to get going around 2:00 pm with burst of S2 to S3 precip rates. Still steady snow as of 5pm.

Snowpack

generally thin coverage with average HS of 60 cm or so. Patchy crust layers on south facing slopes. Large NSFs turning into depth hoar about half way down in the snowpack. This is the problematic, reactive, and persistent weak layer.
