It did not freeze in this area on Thursday night, and was very warm today. I measured 50 degrees at 2pm at 13k.
Snowpack
we were able to observe that there have been a number of slides on the West Face of the peak. This included at least 3 wet slides that occurred over an hour period in the hourglass and the area leading to the entrance of the hourglass. In addition, from high on the ridge it was clear that avalanches were running on the South facing and west facing aspects of Ellingwood Point.
