Sunny and cold, but with noticeable increase in radiation/ warming around 3 pm

Snowpack

SW slopes collapsing and whoompfing. Energy traveling from top to bottom of these slopes that were close to 50 meters long by 100 meters wide. Low angle at 30 degrees or less. SE slopes of Uneva match CAIC forecasters description with the problem layer between 18 to 24" below the surface. It was not supportive enough to boot it back up to the top of the ridge.

Avalanche

Seen through binoculars from Frisco County commons. A slide that probably occurred on The day or Wednesday this week. North aspect of My Royal. Storm slab releasing from the bottom of the cliff bands looked to be natural. Machine gun ridge releases triggered by snowmobiling. Ridge West of Uneva that for the most part parallels I70 is the one in the photograph. Triggered by cornice fall and either sympathetic releases or wind.
