Weather
Sky's were clear. Winds were strong NE loading snow onto leeward slopes. Very cold temps in the morning, slowly warming into the afternoon.
Snowpack
New snow blowing near and above treeline. Large wind-drifts forming below ridgelines, in gullies, and leeward of terrain features. Exposed ridgelines were stripped in areas and stiff wind-slabs forming throughout the day. Cohesive surface slabs observed below treeline.
Avalanche
Widespread shallow avalanche activity on E-SE aspects.
