Snowpack

Deep snowpack 5-15m in this couloir. Multiple PP wind layers in the new 50-80cm, nothing highly reactive.

Avalanche

Released numerous D.5 Sloughs and one SS 10cm deep below choke. Sloughs ran avg 50cm down to K bed surface. Slough debris of 1m depth skied nice, couloir 80% D.5 sloughing, non-cohesive new snow. Overall good bonding to old snow surface, storm started warm on Saturday and despite strong winds on Sunday afternoon, no evidence of highly reactive wind slabs anywhere along our tour.
