Snowpack

SNOWPACK OBS: The patchy rain crust was paper thin and didn't affect skiing much. Lots of old wind effect in the alpine and some wind crusts/board NTL and BTL. 2 pits: The snowpack had a really scary structure at 11,000ft on a NW aspect, 29 degrees. HS 120cm, ECTP14 SC down 60cm on fist hard facets. Another pit on a SE aspect just below ridge line at 11,300ft, 29 degrees. A pencil hard slab over the 1/29th sun crust was producing high quality fractures in tests. HS 240, DTM SP and CT14 SP down 125cm.
