Since 1/30/14, 55"/4.6" HST/HSTW (2 storms and the 3rd beginning yesterday).
Snowpack
No obvious signs of instability (NW-W near and below TL). Cornices are tender and growing large. No signs of instability while descending windward S-SW steep slopes near and below TL.
Avalanche
Visibility continues to be poor for good observing. Widespread sluffing and small slab release in the new snow. Sluffs in Stud Muffin and Coyotes to the white line. Dropped some large cornice chunks into the Cousin with some minor shallow slab release in the new snow at the ridgeline. Evidence of natural cornice fall in the Cousin.
