Poor vis and no pics (next time!). Summary of obs from an AST class: Most of the day spent in the trees in lower Fraser Chutes. The wind and new snow were forming slabs by late afternoon with some small shooting cracks observed by end of day. Several compression tests in a sheltered spot gave similar moderate-hard, resistant planar results (CTM-H RP) down 30cm in facets. No result from a single extended column test.
