20cm at gate. 50cm at dam. 2.5m at 1000m. Snow was rock hard in the morning with zero boot or ski penetration. Crampons were a must. This was the case for all terrain except in the alpine above 1400m where instead there was a 3cm crust on top of 15cm light fluffy powder. Ski conditions not good, views awesome.
Snowpack
Snow was very firm. Nothing was moving. Signs of small wet slides, pin wheels and tree bombing from earlier in the week.
